HEALTH & SAFETY AWARENESS
A ONE DAY COURSE

This one-day course is intended for Construction Operatives who require a general awareness of health and safety and how it affects their role.

Aims & Objectives

At the end of the course delegates will be able to:
State their responsibilities within the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
Report accidents to their employers using the appropriate procedure
State the main causes of accidents on site
Carry out the correct manual handling techniques
Select the correct PPE when carrying out a task
Use work equipment without risk of injury
Work at height taking all the required precautions
State the causes of fire and the methods of controlling fire
